The Happi Table™ offers care teams an accessible way to provide activities for people living with dementia. Its large touchscreen, enhanced sound and carefully selected apps can support reminiscence, sensory engagement, creativity, music and shared interaction.
Activities can be adapted to suit each resident’s interests, abilities and level of confidence. Some people may enjoy taking part in a lively group quiz, while others may respond more positively to familiar music, family photographs or a quiet sensory activity in their room.
Interactive table dementia activities
The Happi Table includes approximately 60 curated apps covering different interests and levels of ability. Rather than expecting every resident to engage in the same way, staff can choose an activity that reflects the individual and how they are feeling at that moment.

Supporting reminiscence and familiar experiences
Long-term memories can remain meaningful even when more recent events become difficult to recall. Music, photographs and familiar subjects can provide opportunities for residents to reconnect with important people, places and experiences from their lives.
Staff might use the Happi Table to explore photographs of a resident’s home town, listen to music from a particular decade or look at subjects connected with a former career, hobby or family tradition.
The large screen makes content easier to see than it would be on a conventional phone or tablet. Enhanced sound can also make music and spoken content more accessible for residents with reduced hearing.
Providing a positive focus during unsettled periods
Some people living with dementia experience periods of restlessness, confusion or distress. This can sometimes become more noticeable later in the day, often described as sundowning.
A familiar or calming activity may provide a positive focus during these periods. Depending on the individual, this could involve listening to favourite music, watching a peaceful nature scene, exploring a sensory app or completing a simple activity alongside a member of staff.
The Happi Table is not a clinical treatment and activities should always be chosen as part of person-centred care. However, it gives staff another practical resource that can be adapted to the resident and the situation.
Encouraging interaction and connection
The Happi Table can bring residents, staff and relatives together around a shared activity. Its large horizontal touchscreen allows several people to see and interact with the content at the same time.
A quiz, music session or reminiscence activity can create opportunities for conversation, laughter and shared recognition. Residents who do not normally initiate conversation may still participate by watching, listening, touching the screen or responding to other people around the table.
Activities do not always need to have a score or a fixed objective. Enjoyment, attention, conversation and time spent engaging with others can all be valuable outcomes.

Because the Happi Table is mounted on wheels, staff can move it from a communal area to a bedroom or quieter room. The 32″ model is particularly well suited to one-to-one engagement and locations where space is limited.

Planning meaningful activities for people with different interests and abilities can be demanding. The Happi Table gives activity coordinators and care staff a varied collection of resources in one place, without requiring complicated setup each time it is used.
Staff can move between music, reminiscence, sensory content, games and creative activities according to the residents taking part. The aim is not to replace traditional activities, but to give care teams another flexible way to encourage participation.
Which Happi Table is suitable for dementia care?
The 32″ Series Happi Table is well suited to one-to-one work, bedrooms, quieter activities and care homes with narrower corridors or limited space.
The 43″ Series Happi Table provides a larger shared surface for communal activities and groups of approximately five or six residents.
Both screen sizes are available with different stand and power options, including battery-powered Pro models that can be moved around the home without remaining connected to a wall socket.
Delivery, training and ongoing support
Every Happi Table includes UK delivery, initial staff training and access to practical onboarding resources. Our team provides direct support throughout the product’s life, backed by a three-year warranty. Pro models also include a LiFePO₄ battery with a five-year manufacturer’s warranty.
Staff can continue developing their confidence through the Happi Learning Hub, with short videos covering setup, everyday operation and activity ideas.
