What if?
Considering a Happi Table™? Here are answers to some of the most common questions buyers ask.

What if our residents don’t engage with it?
The Happi Table™ includes a wide range of apps designed for different abilities and interests. From music and reminiscence to games and sensory experiences, staff can find activities that suit each individual. The possibilities are endless and with clear evidence now in place to show that our technology is highly beneficial to everyone, especially those with dementia.
What if staff confidence with technology is low?
Most people we train naturally have a fear that it will be difficult to learn or that they might break something. With our gentle onboarding, this fear is quickly replaced with smiles as they realise its very much like using their mobile phones or tablets.
What if residents are at different ability levels?
The Happi Table™ includes a wide range of activities designed to suit different abilities, from simple sensory experiences to more interactive games and quizzes.
Staff can quickly select activities based on each resident’s needs, whether for one-to-one engagement or group sessions. This flexibility allows the table to be used across a wide range of residents, including those living with dementia, reduced mobility or varying cognitive abilities.
What if our staff don’t have time to learn how to use it?
The Happi Table™ is designed to be simple and intuitive, with a clear interface that staff can quickly understand. We provide initial onboarding training along with access to the Happi Learning Hub, where short videos help staff learn at their own pace.
What if we’re not sure it will be used regularly?
It’s very rare for residents not to engage with the Happi Table™. In most cases, regular use comes down to staff confidence and how the table is introduced into daily routines.
That’s why we provide training and ongoing support to help staff feel comfortable using the table. With the Happi Homescreen, the Happi Table™ is simple and safe to use, meaning it can be used by all staff — not just Activities Co-ordinators.
We recommend incorporating the Happi Table™ into daily activity schedules and placing it in a visible, accessible location. When used as part of everyday routines, it quickly becomes a natural and well-used part of the home.
What if residents access inappropriate content or settings?
Every Happi Table™ purchase includes our Happi Homescreen, which is a PIN protected interface that keeps the system safe and controlled by blocking internet access, pop-ups and system settings, ensuring a secure and distraction-free experience. We designed this specifically for using multiple Android apps and this makes the Happi Table™ very much different from other touchscreen tables for care homes and care environments.
What if new staff join and don’t know how to use it?
The Happi Learning Hub provides a web dashboard with access to essential training in short videos, making it easy for new staff to learn how to use the table and run activities.
What if it stops working or something goes wrong?
We provide our customers with direct support via phone, email and WhatsApp. Because we design and manufacture the system ourselves, we can quickly help resolve issues, provide guidance or arrange servicing if needed.
How does this differ from other tables we might be considering?
Quality cannot be added, it must be built-in at the beginning, which is why the Happi Table is manufactured in the UK with only high quality components and materials. With many alternative touchscreen tables, the business that supplies your table is probably not the business that made it, which can make it harder to get clear answers or timely support. You won’t be bounced around with the Happi Table™ from Lifesize, we are always here to provide direct support for the term of your warranty and beyond.
What if we’re not sure it’s worth the investment?
The Happi Table™ is designed to support daily engagement, helping care homes provide meaningful activities, encourage interaction and create positive experiences for residents.
Most homes find it becomes a valuable part of their activity programme, used throughout the day for both planned and spontaneous activities.
Many of our customers now consider the Happi Table™ to be as essential as a television in the home — but instead of passive viewing, it provides dynamic, interactive entertainment every day of the week. You can read the genuine reviews from our customers to understand the value a Happi Table™ can bring.
